Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling supporting system for calculating the location of a traveling vehicle in the communication area of roadside radio equipment to reduce a distance error.
SOLUTION: When radio equipment 7 mounted on a traveling vehicle 8 communicates with roadside radio equipment 5 set on a road, the roadside radio equipment 5 is provided with an electric wave direction detecting device 9 for detecting the location of the vehicle radio equipment. The location of the vehicle 8 is specified, and the location of the vehicle or the road condition ahead of the vehicle corresponding to the vehicle location are notified to the vehicle 8.
