Abstract:
To provide a travelling carriage which can reduce preheating flame which is generated from a mounted processing torch and influence of a plasma gas.SOLUTION: A travelling carriage A, which travels while mounting a cutting torch for cutting a work-piece or a welding toch for welding a work-piece thereon, has: a carriage body 10 which accommodates a drive motor and a control part for controlling the derive motor therein, and has a bottom plate; a bottom face heat insulating plate 1 which faces an outer face of a bottom plate 13 of the carriage body 10, and is so located as to provide a space 2 between itself and an outer face 13d of the bottom plate 13; and a side face heat insulating plate 5 which faces an outer face 11a of a side plate 11 of the carriage body 10, and is so located as to provide a space 5 between itself and the outer face of the side plate. The side face heat insulating plate is so fitted to the carriage body as to be movable in a face substantially perpendicular to a surface of the work-piece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
