To form a shin corresponding part connecting a footrest and a seat with a parallel link mechanism by eliminating troublesomeness of individually operating raising and lowering of the seat and the footrest so as to prevent free traveling from being damaged at the time of turning a wheelchair to be in a type of a chair without legs.
The footrest 8 is connected with a seat 4 through the parallel link mechanism 13 to be the shin corresponding part and, when this mechanism 13 is in the posture of a chair by receiving operation with an operation arm 14 provided between a chair frame, the link mechanism 13 is in a standing posture and the footrest 8 is lifted from a floor surface to automatically form a posture of naturally receiving legs in a state a person takes the seat 4. At the time of being in a posture of sitting on one's heels, the mechanism 13 automatically comes into a horizontal posture nearly similar to the footrest 8 and a roller 15 is grounded to a floor surface.
