Title:
TRAVELING-TYPE OFFLINE POS SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3250392
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To miniaturize the whole system and to facilitate its installation in a travelling-type offline POS system proper to be used in a vehicle such as a train, an aircraft.
CONSTITUTION: An offline POS system for sales in a vehicle consists of six handy terminals (BHTs) and six small printers (BEDs). After carrying out sales in the vehicle, six BHTs are successively set to one BED so that each BHT transmits sales result data to BED with its BHT number and from BED, the tabulated BHT's number is received and displayed. If six BHTs are all tabulated, the set BHT instructs tabulation to BED. As the tabulated BHT's number can be displayed, the six BHTs can be set to BED without an error to surely execute tabulation without skipping and overlapping. Consequently, it is not necessary to install a work station in the vehicle.
