To provide a traveling type working machine that can put a snow surface in a desirable state and facilitate work while visually confirming even from a high position.

A press plate 22 formed of a wear-resistant flexible material to abut on the snow surface is mounted to the front face lower edge part of a bucket 18 of a work manipulator 4. A workbench is divided in a front workbench 2 liftably supported to a front part on a traveling truck 1 through a lifting means 11, and a rear workbench 3 integrally fixed to a rear part on the traveling truck 1. The work manipulator 4, an operator's seat 12 and an operation box 13 are mounted on the front workbench 3. An engine, a travel driving pump and a manipulator driving pump driven by the engine, and heavy equipment such as a fuel tank, in operating oil tank and a counterweight are placed on the rear workbench 2 being arranged to make the center-of-gravity position of the whole traveling type working machine as low as possible.
