Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling vehicle control system capable of avoiding interference between a traveling vehicle and an interfering body as much as possible even when many interfering bodies are present in a measurement object area.SOLUTION: A traveling vehicle control system is configured to manage a measurement object area while sectioning the measurement object area into a plurality of section areas and to individually manage the number of in-area interfering bodies as the present number of interfering bodies in the section areas for each of the plurality of section areas, area by area. A travel control part individually determines a congestion state in which the number of in-area interfering bodies exceeds a set upper-limit number Tmax for each of the plurality of section areas, and sets a congestion area travel mode as a travel mode when making a traveling vehicle travel in a section area determined to be in the congestion state.
