To provide a traveling vehicle equipped with a suspension mechanism with simplified and miniaturized structure and exhibiting excellent mounting efficiency to a vehicle body and to provide a suspension unit for a traveling vehicle with excellent versatility and economic efficiency.

In the suspension mechanism 20, an accumulator 22 and a hydraulic cylinder 23 are installed inside the vehicle body 2 adjacently to each other through a suspension mounting part 34 detachably mounted on the vehicle body 2, and a trailing arm 24 having a gear inside thereof is swingably installed on the suspension mounting part 34 on an outside of the vehicle body so that they work as a unit. An end of the trailing arm 24 is connected to a driving shaft 9, and is held so as to vertically swingable around the driving shaft 9 by the hydraulic cylinder 23. A wheel 3 interlocking with the driving shaft 9 is mounted on the other end of the trailing arm 24. It is possible to achieve simplification of the structure and reduction of processing of the vehicle mounting part, and miniaturization, aggregating and downsizing of the suspension mechanism 20. Further, maintenance such as replenishment, service, repair, inspection and maintenance management is easy.
