To simplify a structure interlocking to a gear shift operation and increase the accuracy of the gear shift operation by solving problems in a conventional structure interlocking with the gear shift operation wherein the structure to interlock gear shift rotating speeds in both a forward high-speed range and a reverse high-speed range to high speed sides is complicated and the accuracy of the gear shift operation is not sufficient.

This traveling vehicle comprises a forward/backward gear shift device capable of changing speeds from the forward high-speed range to the reverse high-speed range through a forward/backward neutral range by operating a gear shift arm in one direction. Also, the vehicle comprises an interlocking arm joined to the gear shift arm by a contact cam, operated in the same direction by the operation thereof from the forward/backward neutral range into the forward high-speed range and the backward high-speed range interlockingly with the gear shift arm, and operating another gear shift device to a high speed side.
