Abstract:
To avoid an inconvenient sense of incongruity to be given to a driver due to temporary continuation of four-wheel drive in change-over from a 4WD mode to a 2WD mode.
This travelling system for a four-wheel drive car has a rotation transmitting mechanism 7 for changing over driving force to be transmitted to front wheels 1, 1 or cut off to select two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. It comprises a determining means for determining whether there is the possibility of tight corner braking or not when the rotation transmitting mechanism 7 engages therewith. When there is the possibility of tight corner braking, a display means displays warning for mitigating the sense of congruity to be given to the driver.
