Abstract:

To provide a traverse device capable of automatically performing origin returning operation of a slider by detecting the loss of synchronism of the slider.

Synchronism loss detecting sensors SE1 and SE2 are arranged on both sides of a travese range for detecting the loss of synchronism of the slider, the sensors SE1 and SE2 detect the slider 3 turning to an end part of a magnetic shaft 2 by deviating from the traverse range (between a and b) by a synchronism loss phenomenon, and detect the occurrence of the synchronism loss phenomenon. When moving the slider 3 in the direction of the origin O in returning operation of the slider 3 to the origin O, by measuring a rotating speed of a motor M1 from when the sensors SE1 and SE2 detect the slider 3, even if a detecting sensor of the slider 3 is not arranged in an origin position O, after prescribed time passes, the arrival of the slider 3 at the origin O can be indirectly recognized.
