PURPOSE: To enhance the efficiency in the work of transferring traveling trucks between tracks by reducing time during which a following traveling truck waits on a track to the minimum, even if a number of traveling tracks are traveling on the track.
CONSTITUTION: First 33 and second 34 traverser tracks are provided which extend perpendicular to first 31 and second 32 main tracks, respectively. A first traverse truck 41 comprising a transfer truck 42 and auxiliary trucks 43, 44 is provided on the first traverse track 33 and a second traverser truck 47 is provided on the second traverser track 34. The auxiliary track 52 of the transfer truck 42 can be connected to the first 31 and second 32 main tracks, in which case the auxiliary track of the auxiliary truck 44 or 43 is connected to the second 32 or first 31 main track. The auxiliary track 57 of the second traverser truck 47 can be connected to the first 31 and second 32 maim tracks via the auxiliary track of the first traverser truck 41.
