Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce occurrence of waviness of a grinding surface by effecting spark out grinding in such a way that the phase of the passage position of a grinding wheel is displaced at each time by an amount into which a feed amount is equally divided by an amount the number of spark out times.
CONSTITUTION: A grinding work is applied on a workpiece 10 having width wider than that of a grinding wheel 6 through movement in the direction of width of the grinding wheel 6. In this case, the number of spark out grinding times is N, and the phase of feed movement of the grinding wheel is displaced approximately by F/N each time spark out grinding is made one time. In which case, F is a feed amount of feed movement. By displacing the phase in this may the height of waviness of a grinding surface can be effectively reduced.
