Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traverser for a railway vehicle which can contribute to space-saving in a vehicle waiting space, and in which passing each other can be implemented without interference between the tip part of a railway vehicle waiting on a rail and the tip part of a tongue rail, and the tongue rail can be moved from a retracting state to a using state.SOLUTION: Provided are a base 3 which loads a work 1 and is formed as capable of running on a moving rail 2 and a tongue rail 4 which is fitted to the side end part 331 of the base as retractable. A railway vehicle 5 installed in the direction orthogonal to the moving rail is a traverser 10 for a railway vehicle which loads and transports the work on a waiting rail 6 on the base through the tongue rail. Regarding the tongue rail 4, the tip part 43 is formed as rotatable almost in the horizontal direction, and the tip part 43 contacts with the upper end 61 of the rail 6 when used and is formed as tapered vertically.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
