To provide a tray changer capable of minimizing the number of drive sources, and greatly reducing total cost.
This tray changer is provided with a separation stage 3 on which trays 9 containing items for work are placed in stack, a work stage 4 on which a tray for work is placed, a stacking stage 5 disposed under the work stage for stacking trays after work, a separation and elevation mechanism to hold the second and the above trays from the bottom that are placed on the separation stage to be moves up and down, a separation and moving mechanism to separate the tray at the lowest layer placed on the separation stage to be moved to the work stage, and a lamination and elevation mechanism to hold the tray on the stacking state to be moved up and down. The tray changer is provided with a support member 43 for work installed on the work stage to be rotatable to a horizontal state and an inclined state, on which the tray for work can be placed for work in the horizontal state, and on which the tray after completion of work can be discharged toward the stacking stage by weight in the inclined state.
