To increase suction force produced in the central pipe of a bobbin and reliably insert the end of the thread into the top opening of the central pipe by providing a plurality of ventilating holes in the central pipe of the inserted and erected bobbin.

Air in a central hole 18 of a central pipe 66 flows into a hollow part 23 via a main ventilating hole 24 and an auxiliary ventilating hole 24a of a peg 22 of a tray (T) by the action of suction air flow in the direction of arrow 25, thereby producing suction air flow in the direction of arrows 26 and 26a from the main ventilating hole 24 and the auxiliary ventilating hole 24a to the central hollow part 23. Suction force 27 produced in the central hole 18 of the central pipe 66 by the suction air flow inserts the end of the thread into the top opening of a bobbin. If a plurality of ventilating holes are provided in the tray (T), the area of the ventilating hole is increased to increase the amount of air flowing down the tray from the central hole 18 of the central pipe 66, thereby increasing absorbing force 27 produced in the central hole 18 of the central pipe 66 and reliably inserting the end of the thread into the top opening of the bobbin.
