PURPOSE: To shorten supply time of tray parts, and easily prepare an operation program.
CONSTITUTION: A tray part supply device is provided with a tray housing device 2 to house plural kinds of trays 1 housing plural parts, a tray positioning device 4 to fix the trays in an operation area of an assembling robot 3, a tray transfer device 5 to transfer the trays between the devices, a ceiling traveling car 6 to carry in and carry out the trays and a control device 7 to control the whole devices. The tray arrangement in the tray housing device 2 is optimized on condition that both waiting time of the assembling robot 3 by part supply and waiting time of the assembling robot 3 by tray carrying-out and carrying-in operation with an external part of the devices are minimum. Therefore, a tray stage stacking and tray stage separating process of a tray supply process can be eliminated, and an exclusive transfer means between a tray carrying out and carrying-in part and a tray housing part can be eliminated by realization of a multifunctional type of the tray transfer device 5.
