To provide a tray for sheetlike image recording materials which prevents scratching due to vibration and handling in a transport process and reduces the number of sheets stacked without changing the shape of the tray (without requiring modification of photographic equipment), and to provide a sheetlike image recording material package.
The tray for sheetlike image recording materials has a rectangular first bottom part on which sheetlike image recording materials are stacked and side walls for regulating the position of the sheetlike image recording materials raised from the edges of the first bottom part, wherein the tray has a second bottom part above the first bottom part and the second bottom part is formed by putting a flat plate member having a rectangular flat face and side walls disposed at the edges of the flat face toward the rear face side of the flat face on a dish-shaped buffer member located on the front face of the first bottom part, so that the rear face of the flat face and the front face of the first bottom part confront each other.
