Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray type card connector which can be small-sized while including a tray ejection mechanism employing an extrusion lever.SOLUTION: In a tray type card connector 2, an extrusion lever 7 is rotated by pushing in one end with an operation member 8, and a card tray 3 is extruded in the other end of the extrusion lever 7. A housing 4 includes a shaft protrusion 6 that protrudes from a top plate part of the housing 4, and the extrusion lever 7 is abutted to a rear side of the shaft protrusion 6 so as to rotate the extrusion lever 7 around the shaft protrusion 6. In the card tray 3, a retraction recess 34 is formed at a rear edge part and in the case where the card tray 3 is inserted into a tray insertion part, the shaft protrusion 6 is retracted in the retraction recess 34, such that a space of the shaft protrusion 6 occupied in the housing 4 is overlapped with a space of the card trat 3 occupied in the housing 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
