The tray for a water server for placing a plastic bag 10 filled with drinking water to be supplied to a main body part includes: a placement surface for placing the plastic bag 10; and a needle 11 for piercing through a bottom surface of the plastic bag 10, and guiding the drinking water in the plastic bag 10 to the main body part. The needle 11 includes: a sharp part 51; a first taper part 52 a side face of which is inclined from the sharp part 51 to a base end part of the needle 11; a first straight part 53 extending from the first taper part 52 to the base end part of the needle 11; and a second taper part 54 a side face of which is inclined from the first straight part 53 to the base end part of the needle 11. The needle 11 is fixed so that at least a part of a hole rim part 60 formed at the rim of a hole of the plastic bag 10 is in contact within a range from the second taper part 54 to the base end part of the needle 11.
