To provide a tread adjustment part of a carriage for harvesting work which can adjust the tread between its right and left wheels continuously over a wide range.
This carriage has a left and a right outside frame 2 fitted with front wheels 6a and 6b and rear wheels 7a and 7b, and a connection frame 3 which connect both the left and right outside frames 2 together. Tread adjustment parts 9 and 10 of the carriage for harvesting work which moves straddling a ridge, have a rack gear 9 which is fixed to the outside frames 2 and inserted into the connection frame 3 so that it can slide in the right-left direction, and a pinion gear 10 which adjusts the distance between the outside frames 2 and connection frame 3 by sliding the rack gear and is pivoted on the connection frame 3, obtaining the tread adjustment parts of the carriage for harvesting work which can adjust the tread between the right and left wheels continuously over a wide range.
