To provide a tread fitting structure capable of sufficiently securing fine appearance and the fitting strength of a tread.
A tread 2 is fixed to a tread mounting butt end 11 of a side plate 1 via a connector 4. The connector 4 includes: a projection 7 disposed so as to project from the tread mounting butt end 11; a fixing part 6 for fixing the projection 7 to the side plate 1; and a push-in operation part provided at the tip of the projection 7 such that it can be pushed into the projection 7. The projection 7 is expansively deformed by a push-in operation. A connector coating recessed part 25 corresponding to the connector 4 is formed in a back side of the tread 2. The push-in operation part is pushed into an innermost wall surface of the connector coating recessed part 25 by pressing the tread 2 to the tread mounting butt end 11 while receiving the projection 7 into the connector coating recessed part 25 and the projection 7 is expansively deformed. An outer peripheral surface of the expansively deformed projection 7 engages with an inner peripheral surface of a connector coating recessed part 25, thereby the tread 2 is fixed to the side plate 1.
