Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a tread of a construction machine easily and safely by making the tread of the machine body expansible and contractible.
SOLUTION: A fixed link 41 is supported so that it can horizontally rotate by pivotally attaching one end part of the fixed link 41 to the outside surfaces of tread members 6L, 6R and either one of front or back guide holes 11L, 11R, and the other end part of the fixed link 41 is fixed to the other guide hole 11L or 11R by a pin. If the tread of a machine is expanded or contracted by extending or shrinking a retract cylinder 10 after the pin is pulled out, the fixed link 41 automatically rotates from either one of the guide holes 11L, 11R to the other with the slide of the tread members 6L, 6R relative to an axle beam 5, and after that, the other end part of the fixed link 41 is fixed to either position by the pin.
