Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tread shape measuring method that can suppress missing of data in a sidewall area of a land part divided by a groove in the circumferential direction.SOLUTION: A tread shape measuring method comprises: a measuring step S1 of measuring distance data from respective displacement gauges to the surface of a tread part while moving plural laser displacement gauges including a first laser displacement gauge whose axis of outgoing laser beam is inclined in a positive angle with respect to the tire equatorial plane and a second laser displacement gauge whose axis of outgoing laser beam is inclined in a negative angle with respect to the tire equatorial plane, in the tire axial direction within a tire meridian cross section; and a calculating step S2 of obtaining distance data representing the surface shape of the tread part by synthesizing first distance data measured by the first laser displacement gauge and second distance data measured by the second laser displacement gauge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
