Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a treating agent for synthetic fibers suitable for a spin-draw method and expressing lubricating property and sheaving property even in thereafter weaving process, and giving a high efficiency in the weaving and a woven fabric of high quality by making the agent contain an esterified copolymer of α-olefin with an unsaturated dibasic acid.
SOLUTION: This treating agent is obtained by containing a esterified copolymer of a 10-24C α-olefin and an unsaturated dibasic acid with a 1-8C aliphatic alcohol as an essential component. In producing synthetic fibers by using a direct spin-drawing method, the treating agent containing 30-80 wt.% of an aliphatic ester, 1-20 wt.% of an ester of a copolymer of an α-olefin and an unsaturated dibasic acid and 15-50 wt.% of a nonionic surfactant is preferably applied.
