PURPOSE: To provide the titled device capable of efficiently treating waste materials such as foamed polystyrene, wherein by only charging in a material to be melted, the material is crushed to a predetermined size or below, is conveyed at a fixed speed, and an appropriate quantity thereof is automatically supplied to a melting device.
CONSTITUTION: A crusher 1, a conveyor 2 and a melting device 3 are provided, the material to be melted such as foamed polystyrene is charged in through a charging port 7, is crushed into small lumps by projected pieces 10 and crushing pins 11, and the thus crushed material is fed out through a discharging port 8. The material is conveyed by placing an appropriate amount thereof on each of blades 22 provided on a belt conveyor 21, is dropped off the blades 22 at a feeding-out part 28, and is supplied into a supplying port 37 for the melting device 3 through a chute 29.
