Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the regulation of the orientation in the direction of the side of a treating instrument to a specified direction when leading out of the treating instrument and to achieve the expansion of application range of the treating instrument which orientation direction is regulated.
CONSTITUTION: A guide groove is formed near an outlet of an insertion channel of a treating instrument to regulate the orientation in the direction of the side of a high-frequency snare 26 (position in the circumferential direction). A direction regulating member 30 having a protruded part 33 to be guided by the guide groove is freely loadably/unloadably and freely slidably arranged in the high-frequency snare 26. Thus, shifting of the orientation in the direction of the side of the treating instrument such as high-frequency snare or papillotomy knife is enabled, thereby facilitating the excision of a nipple part, for example, in the treatment of removing calculus and the endoscope-oriented tracing of pancreatic/bile ducts. In addition, axial sliding of the direction regulating member 30 enables the adjustment of a protrusion value of the high-frequency snare 26 in the regulated direction state.
