Abstract:
To obtain an aggregate from which fluorine hardly elutes by utilizing slag which generates in a steel production process and contains a fluorine compound without subjecting the slag to a specific treatment such as a fluorine compound separation treatment.
The aggregate is obtained by blending the slag generated in the steel production process and containing the fluorine compound, a silica source containing, as a main component, silicon dioxide (SiO2) and, as one of the remainders, coal ash including calcium sulfate (CaSO4), and a calcium source mainly containing a cement-based solidifying material, adding water to the blended composition, forming granulates, and curing the granulates at normal temperature.
