Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high security against a on-line payment from a bank account by a simple mechanism.
SOLUTION: The electronic money system is provided with a terminal device 12 of a user; PHS electronic money card 14 provided with an interface connectable to the terminal device 12 and a function of a cellular phone; a bank server 10 connecting through the terminal device 12 and the Internet and connecting through the electronic money card 14 and a moving telephone network. An application of payment designating an amount of money of the payment and a date of the payment is informed from the terminal device 12 to the bank server 10 and a telephone call is carried out from the bank server 10 to the PHS electronic money card 14 by an approval to the date of the payment with time lag. An establishment of connection of a telephone call is confirmed to execute a payment of the electronic money.
