PURPOSE: To make exhaust gas associated with a dust-melt treatment harmless and to take out useful material in a reusable condition outside a system by installing a gas cooler, a bag filter, and an electric dust collector in an exhaust gas transport pipeline.
CONSTITUTION: In a pipeline for transporting exhaust gas generated in the melt treatment of fly ash in a melting furnace 1 are installed a gas cooler 3 for cooling the exhaust gas to the condensation temperature or below of mercury, a bag filter 4 for removing condensed components, and an electric dust collector for collecting and removing mist in the exhaust gas in sequence toward the downstream end. In this way, the mercury in the exhaust gas is liquefied, while other low melting point metals are solidified. Besides, HC1, SOx, dioxin, etc., are sent directly downstream. Low melting point metals are caught by the bag filter 4, mist is caught by the electric dust collector, and HC1, dioxin, etc., are removed.
