Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the nitrification rate and treatment efficiency in the treatment of the used waste water by supplying the waste water at a specified flow rate to filters and changing the number of the filters to which the waste water is supplied within one set and the number of the filters to which the waste water is not supplied according to the total flow rate of the aq. waste to be treated.
SOLUTION: Ten pieces of the same filters 1a to 1j installed in parallel are provided with perforated plates 6, 7. Filter media 2 consisting of polystyrene particles are incorporated into the plates 6, 7. The nitrified waste water consisting of flow passages 5a is supplied at the specified flow rate to the respective filters 1a to 1j. The number of the filters 1a to 1j to which the waste water is supplied by a supply sequence changing means 12 and the number of the filters 1a to 1j to which the waste water is not supplied are changed according to the sequence obtd. by measuring the accumulated flow rate, accumulated supply time and accumulated non-supply time by a measuring means 11 in accordance with the total flow rate of the aq. waste to be treated. As a result, the efficient treatment of the used waste water is made possible.
