Abstract:

To provide methods and devices for displacing body convection and thereby reducing exposure to allergens and other airborne fine particles within a personal breathing zone during situations of or corresponding to sleep thereby reducing or removing symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis while improving quality of sleep, in particular to provide methods and devices that utilize temperature controlled laminar airflow, and to provide business methods involving such methods and devices.

A claim, statement or direction can be included in manuals, advertisements, package inserts, and/or applications to Medicare, Medicaid and private health insurances that: symptoms of asthma and/or rhinitis can be reduced or removed by reducing exposure to airborne fine particles in a specific zone of treated air based on the utilize temperature controlled laminar airflow; and reimbursement system can be established in relation to the temperature-controlled laminar airflow treatment.
