PURPOSE: To obtain a cold-rolled stainless steel belt-like sheet, etc., which is smooth, has gloss regardless of metallic materials and has satin patterned surfaces by subjecting the belt-like sheet to a shot removal treatment of scale, then to brush-polishing or ultrasonic cleaning treatment and further dilute acid treatment.
CONSTITUTION: The downstream side of the hot-rolled belt-like sheet 2 let off from a sheet letting-off member 1 is provided with an elongating roller leveling device 3, a scale shot removing device 4 and a brush-polishing device 5 to break the scale formed on the sheet. One or plural pieces of cold rolling roller stands 6 and annealing device 7 are disposed and a cooling device 8 is disposed behind the same. This device is provided with the brush-polishing device or a washing device 10 behind the same. A dilute acid treating device 11 is disposed behind the same. A rolling roller stand 12 for skin pass is disposed behind the acid treating device at need and the elongating roller leveling device and the elongating device 13 for final treatment of the treated belt-like sheet before feeding the belt-like sheet to a take-up member 14 are disposed behind the same.
