Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment device which treats an object tissue or improves the state of the object tissue by promoting taking of a sound-sensitizer into the object tissue without damaging the object tissue.SOLUTION: A treatment device comprises: a current output part which outputs a weak current to an object tissue to which a sound-sensitizer is administered; an ultrasonic irradiation part which irradiates the object tissue with an ultrasonic wave; and a control part which controls the current output part and the ultrasonic irradiation part. The sound-sensitizer has a positive or negative surface potential in the object tissue, and is excited with ultrasonic irradiation to generate an action substance or action energy in the object tissue. The control part controls the current output part to flow the weak current in the object tissue, controls the ultrasonic irradiation part to irradiate the object tissue with the ultrasonic wave so as to generate the action substance or action energy in the object tissue.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
