Abstract:
To prevent spatters from scattering on a welding part and remove spatters stuck on an electric resistance welded tube.
On the front side of a squeeze roll 8 where a plate strip material T is rounded into a tubular form and welded by heating, a wrapper tube 21 for collecting spatters C scattering on a welding part S is provided. The collected spatters C are sent to a cyclone dust-collecting device via a duct, being separated and recovered therein. The lower part 21 c of the wrapper tube 21 is supported by the upper face of a conveyed tube P via a removing sheet part 22 being a non-metallic soft member.
