Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable easy and inexpensive treatment of the hair or the skin of head or body with water containing carbon dioxide gas for recovering or improving the natural activity of the tissue by an operator or by oneself. CONSTITUTION: Water or hot water directly supplied from a conventional pressurized water source such as city water supply, instant hot water device or hot water tank is charged with pure carbon dioxide gas supplied from a compressed carbon dioxide gas holder as a sole acid-forming agent. The water pressure is set to be remarkably lower than the static pressure of water taken from the above pressurized water source in a water channel at a part having a water pressure lowered below the pressure of the carbon dioxide gas. The pH of the water is accurately, constantly and automatically controlled within a prescribed range.
