Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form alloys and intermetallic compounds having problems in oxidation resistance, mechanical strength and magnetic performance in the case of use heretofore into a magnetic material more excellent in environment resistance and having high performance.

CONSTITUTION: Rare earth intermetallic compounds such as Sm2Fe17Nx and Nd2Fe14 B showing exceedingly excellent magnetic performance'among allay and intermetallic compound magnetic materials are treated in an organic solvent by metallic salt, metallic complex and organic metallic compounds, and the material surface is uniformly coated with the metal formed by the decomposition and reduction of the same, by which the magnetic material having excellent environment resistance and magnetic performance can be produced.
