Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for aluminum dross residual ash in which metal aluminum and nitrided aluminum contained in aluminum dross residual ash can be oxidized efficiently and securely by a simple method and a chloride can be gasified and the aluminum dross residual ash can be made harmless.
SOLUTION: Aluminum dross residual ash is burnt at the temperature range of 1000°C or higher by a heat burner to oxidize residual metal aluminum in the aluminum dross residual ash, and when a nitrogen content and a chlorine content are removed, a part of aluminum dross after being burnt in a rotary kiln 2 is left therein, to which new aluminum dross residual ash D is added and burnt therein.
