Abstract:
To provide a boron-containing water treatment method which can reduce the boron concentration to a value equal to or lower than a standard value at a low cost without using a large amount of chemical and without using crystallization equipment.
Raw water is subjected to coagulation treatment in a reaction tank 2 and a solid-liquid separation tank 3, and further treated in an adsorption tower 8 when the boron concentration in the separated liquid is high. Regenerant waste of an adsorbent in the adsorption tower 8 is returned from a waste liquid tank 13 to the reaction tank 2, thereby reducing the amount of used pH adjusting agent.
