To provide a treatment method for an electrical insulation oil whereby BTA and other additives can be easily added to an electrical insulation oil; and a treatment apparatus used therefor.
An electrical insulation oil is sent through a pipeline 5 into a dissolution aid dissolution tank 2, and a dissolution aid containing BTA and other additives dissolved therein in advance is charged through a charge port for the dissolution aid into the dissolution tank 2 therein to dissolve the dissolution aid and BTA and other additives in the insulation oil. The insulation oil treated in the dissolution tank 2 is sent into a dissolution aid removal tank 3 to remove only the dissolution aid from the insulation oil, thus giving the insulation oil containing BTA and other additives dissolved therein. The amount of the remaining dissolution aid in the insulation oil treated in the removal tank 3 is detected with a dissolution aid detection apparatus to confirm the amount of the dissolution aid recovered. The insulation oil containing BTA and other additives dissolved therein is sent through a pipeline 6 to an electrical insulation oil storage tank or an oil-containing electrical apparatus.
