To provide a method for treating high concentration sludge, where the sludge of high concentration of ≥10% is subjected to methane fermentation to be recovered as various resources and an apparatus configuration preventing the discharge of the sludge from the terminal as much as possible is compact, and an apparatus therefor.
This treatment method of the high concentration sludge comprises a blasting process of the high concentration sludge having a moisture content of ≤90% or a high temperature and high pressure treatment process of the same sludge, and a methane fermentation process for applying methane fermentation to the product of the blasting process. The methane fermentation carried out after the blasting treatment of the high concentration sludge enables high concentration methane fermentation.
