Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently, inexpensively and stably remote a hardly biodegradable organonitrogen compd. contained in a waste fluid.
CONSTITUTION: Raw water containing a hardly biodegradable organonitrogen compd. is subjected to aerobic treatment in an aerobic treatment device to decompose biodegradable org. matter and formed NH4-N is nitrated to NOx-N. Next, a nitrogen compd. not decomposed by aerobic treatment is decomposed by ozone in an ozone treatment device 3 and formed NH4-N is converted to NOx-N and, after residual ozone is removed by an ozone removing device 4, biological denitrification treatment is performed in a denitrifying device 5 to remove a nitrogen component from raw water.
