Abstract:
To maintain over a long period of time the effect of a water-repellency coating film for protecting the surfaces of a coating film formed after polishing by means of a buffing compound and removing deposits.
The painted surface of a car is washed using preferably a car detergent, or the like, and polished using a buffing composition being a w/o type emulsion containing a surfactant, polishing particles, an oily component and water and then the water-repellency coating film is formed. The water- repellency coating film is formed by applying a water-repellency coating film forming agent containing wax and silicone compounds as principal components and further preferably a fluorine compound.
