PURPOSE: To prove a plated material treating device which is capable of rapidly heating plated materials and is efficient.
CONSTITUTION: This treating device is provided with a vacuum heating furnace 2 which is equipped with radiation tube type burners 5 for heating scrap 15, a fan 6 for circulating a heated atmosphere gas, a cover 7 for regulating the flow of the atmosphere gas flowing convectionally in the furnace and a zinc trap for recovering the zinc evaporated from the scrap 15 and in which the pressure can be reduced by a vacuum pump. The atmosphere gas heated by the radiation tube type burners 5 is made to flow conventionally from the peripheral part in the vacuum heating furnace 2 to the central part by the fan 6 and is heated by the heaters 15. As a result, the plating metal is evaporated and separated from the plated materials.
