Title:
TREATMENT OF SILVER HALIDE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6147961
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To process quickly a silver halide color photosensitive material by bleaching the developed silver of the photosensitive material with a bleaching agent contg. an org. acid ferric complex salt and iodine-contg. substd. org. compd. after exposing and developing process.

CONSTITUTION: The bleaching agent contg. the org. acid ferric complex salt, for example, diethylene triamine pentaacetic acid ferric complex salt, diethylene triamine pentaphosphoric acid ferric complex salt, etc. having bleaching power and the iodine-contg. substd. org. compd., for example, the compd. expressed by formula I W formula V is prepd. The core-shell type photosensitive material (the core of silver iodide and the shell of silver chloride, silver bromide, etc.) is processed by such bleaching agent. The bleaching agent has the high bleaching power of the developed silver and therefore the quick bleaching of the core-shell type silver halide photosensitive material which is hardly bleached and has high sensitivity is made possible.
