Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the treatment of small quantity and many kinds of stainless steel products without causing excess of the product by butt-welding small unit wt. coils and rolling-annealing or further, temper-rolling the integrated steel sheet.
SOLUTION: After treating, in a built-up process, one integral steel sheet which is formed by joining the end parts corresponding to the steel sheets with the butt-welding related to each hot-rolled steel sheet having a specific composition, a cold-rolling process is applied to the built-up steel sheet, a continuous annealing process is applied to the cold-rolled built-up steel sheet or further, the temper-rolling process is applied to the annealed built-up steel sheet, the built-up steel sheet is divided. In this case, the hot-rolled stainless steel sheet having the specific composition is two or more steel sheets selected among the group composed of a hot-rolled steel sheet containing, by wt., 17-19% Cr and 8-11% Ni, a hot-rolled steel sheet containing 14-17% Cr and 6-8% Ni and a hot-rolled steel sheet containing 16-25% Cr, 10-20% Ni and ≤3% Mo.
