Abstract:
To provide a method for treating conditions associated with thalamocortical dysrhythmia in a patient.SOLUTION: The method includes applying transcranial low voltage electrical stimulation (TLVES) therapy or transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy to a patient, and administering to the patient a dissociative anesthetic during the TLVES therapy or the TMS therapy. The dissociative anesthetic is a dissociative anesthetic such as an NMDAR inhibitor including ketamine. Multiple conditions including tinnitus, depression, drug abuse and pain can be treated.SELECTED DRAWING: None
