Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide both a new, nonpollution and economical method for incineration treatment of a waste by carbonization according to safe and continuous operations using a carbonized material and a thermal decomposition gas produced by the carbonization as a fuel for the carbonization while continuously carbonizing the waste and a method for recovering a carbonaceous material, the gas fuel or a civil engineering material.
CONSTITUTION: A waste A is continuously carbonized in an indirect heating type heating pipe 1 and a carbonized material B produced by the carbonization and a waste gas E on the discharging side are burned in combustors 2 and 3 installed under the heating pipe 1 and used as a heat source for indirect heating of the heating pipe 1. Thereby, the upper part in an outer cylinder 5 of the heating pipe 1 can continuously be operated at a temperature without dangerousness at ≤390°C. Furthermore, the carbide and gas fuel to be an excess with the heat source for the carbonization can be recovered and incombustibles can be recovered as sterilized earth and sand by the combustion of the carbonized material.
