Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a treating method for facilitating separation by turning a waste solution after impregnating an inorganic material such as a porous material with acrylic ester or methacrylic ester to water insoluble polymer particles and simultaneously decreasing the COD value.
CONSTITUTION: The method for treating a waste solution containing acrylic ester or methacrylic ester is characterized by adding an adsorptive material or a flocculating material and an azo compound based or peroxide based free radical catalyst to the waste solution containing acrylic ester or methacrylic ester, and polymerizing by heating to form a water insoluble polymer.
