To reutilize the energy of the treatment of waste by burning the unburned impurities generated by carbonization of waste by cambustion and drying the waste by the waste heat generated by the combustion to burn the freshly generated unburned impurities, generating vapor by the waste heat of the combustion and activating the active carbon.
The waste is burned and carbonized in a carbonization furnace 1 necessary for the carbonization stage. The unburned impurities generated in the carbonization furnace 1 are burned by a first smoke and odor suppressing device 2. The waste is dried in a drying furnace 3 by utilizing the waste heat generated by the combustion of the first smoke and odor suppressing device 2. The unburned impurities freshly generated in the drying stage are burned by a second smoke and odor suppressing device 4. Further, the vapor is generated in a vapor generating device 5 by utilizing the waste heat generated by the combustion. The active carbon is activated by the vapor in an activating device 6. As a result, the reutilization of the energy required for the treatment of the waste is made possible.
