Abstract:

To predict solid-liquid separability in a final sedimentation basin under ever-changing conditions.SOLUTION: A prediction method for water quality of treated water includes creation of a correlation database (62) by preliminary machine learning of correlation between feature values of activated sludge images in a biological reaction tank 20 and a solid matter removal rate in a final sedimentation tank 30 and determination of a solid matter removal rate corresponding to the feature values extracted from the activated sludge images collected from the biological reaction tank 20 using the correlation database (62). The water quality of treated water is predicted by using the determined solid matter removal rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
